ORSAS IS STILL HERE FOR YOU

Orkney Rape & Sexual Assault Service (ORSAS) SCIO takes the health and well-being of staff, volunteers, and service users very seriously. As you know ORSAS made the decision to suspend face to face support and close our offices and the ORSAS Equality Hub at 26 Bridge Street, Kirkwall in mid March due to COVID-19. All staff are working from home meantime.

You may be at home but you are not alone. We are still here for you.

We can support you through this. Get in touch.

  • We are still accepting referrals for support & advocacy call 01856872298 or email contact@orsas.scot
  • Our office line is re-directed and open 9.30-4.30 Mon-Thurs on 01856 872298. Calls will be answered securely and confidentially from an agreed confidential space within a staff member's home, using secure IT equipment, in order to ensure safety and GDPR compliance. There should be no noticeable difference in the quality of service.
  • While all face to face appointments with service users are suspended until further notice we have offered everyone on our caseload remote support (video conferenceing, telephone, email and text)
  • All of the above will be kept under review and we will act in accordance with official guidance and government mandated restrictions.
